Vila lands in the Algarve
Introducing Vila, a new 2026 COSTA NOVA collection inspired by the timeless beauty of traditional Portuguese craftsmanship. With delicate floral motifs, refined fillet detailing, a rich palette of colors, subtle glazes and textures, Vila brings the charm of yesterday’s ceramics into contemporary living. It is an homage to Portuguese homes of the past, modest yet exquisitely cared for.
The collection was set in the Algarve, in its unique light, warmer weather and slower pace. Among the selected locations was Quinta do Pinheiro, a long-term partner whose charming cottages already feature COSTA NOVA pieces on their slow-living tables.
This 19th-century Portuguese farmhouse, reimagined as a quiet refuge in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, offers a distinctive backdrop. The whitewashed walls, red doors, avocado fields and vineyards highlight Vila’s floral designs while mixing and matching beautifully with the red-rimmed Beja collection and the contrasting Northern vineyard inspiration of Douro flatware. More on Quinta do Pinheiro in this Remodelista article.
Vila bridges the gap between past and present. Rooted in heritage yet designed for today, the collection celebrates the art of gathering and invites moments of connection and warmth.
