«I paid particular attention to the design of the bowls, which are ideal vessels for me in the border area between cooking, serving and eating. The addition of cork, used here in a dark smoked finish, was intended to complement the functional advantages of the material and also to build a ‘design bridge’ to the material and product culture of Portugal. My secret wish was to promote and support the culture of cooking, eating and communicating together at the dining table through the versatility and aesthetics of the NÓTOS collection.
